Welcome
to the newly created web site of the Cobourg Santa Claus parade.
Some new and exciting changes are in store for the 2010 edition
of the parade.
We are pleased
to offer our participants the option of submitting
a float or band application directly through this web site.
For participants, sponsors and spectators, all information regarding
the parade will be accessible online.
The Cobourg
Santa Claus Parade is celebrating our 55th anniversary this year.
The parade is presented by the Lions
Club of Cobourg and the Cobourg
DBIA and financially supported by our wonderful sponsors
since 2006.
The parade
is organized by a committee of dedicated
individuals from the Cobourg Lions Club. For the past four years,
the parade has grown in many directions, including world class
bands, increased float quality, increased participation and community
support.
As is tradition,
letters to Santa and non perishable food donations will once again
be collected along the route.
We are thrilled
to announce that our very special musical guests include the world
renowned Burlington
Teen Tour Band, The
Band of the Royal Regiment of Canada and the Toronto
Police Pipe Band. In addtion, the Governors
General’s Horse Guard Cavalry will be escorting santa
through historic downtown Cobourg.
